Bar Hill
Copper cooking pot, Bar Hill
A copper cooking pot with handle of twisted iron wire, found in the outer ditch, in the south east corner of Bar Hill Fort, Twechar. It dates to the Roman occupation of the fort from AD 142-180. The rim diameter is 11.5cm and the pot is 12.5cm high.
