Pàirc na Cìse: earann de bhalla agus dìg

Immediately east of the Cumbernauld Airport, at Tollpark, North Lanarkshire, between the forts at Castlecary and Westerwood lies one of the longest continuous stretches of the Antonine Wall that can be seen today.

This is an attractive walk, through woodland and with fine views to the north. A temporary camp was located about 400m south of the wall here, but this now lies beneath the Wardpark North Industrial Estate.

The Tollpark section of the wall can be accessed from behind the Castlecary House Hotel, east of Castlecary village on the B816. A kissing gate gives access into the field, past the site at Garnhall and then by following the waymarked path.
